Meet Ibijoke
Ibijoke Akinbowale is the Principal and Founder of District Native Partners consulting firm, where her dedication to serving vulnerable populations aligns seamlessly with her policy expertise and nonprofit leadership. Throughout her career, Ibijoke has been steadfast in her commitment to addressing the housing needs of low-income communities. She has conducted fair housing testing investigations in the Greater Philadelphia area and provided essential homelessness services in the District of Columbia. Previously, Ibijoke led a national intermediary network, supporting local housing counseling agencies through funding, training, and policy initiatives.
Her contributions extend further as she serves on the board of the National Housing Resource Center and holds a federally appointed position on the U.S Department of Housing and Community Development’s Housing Counseling Advisory Committee. A native of DC, Ibijoke exemplifies true dedication to serving the homeless, people of color, and nonprofit and faith-based organizations. Her passion lies in ensuring the delivery of crucial services to extremely low-income and low-income communities.
